Ed's Care Guide

  • Care: Easy
  • Light: Prefers low to medium indirect light; medium light will encourage growth. Avoid direct sunlight. Rotate plant 1/4 turn with each watering to help maintain growth pattern
  • Water: Keep soil well drained but evenly moist. Avoid over-watering.
  • Humidity: Moderate
  • Temperature: 60-86F. Avoid cold drafts and temps below 60 F. A temperature of 68F is best for optimum growth
  • Pruning: Prune as needed to remove brown or dead leaves and control growth.
  • Feeding: Dilute the plant food to 1/2 the recommended strength and fertilize monthly during spring and summer. Fertilize every other month in the fall and winter at 1/2 strength
  • Propagation: Root division, Stem Cuttings, Tip Cuttings
  • Growth: Upright, Bushy
  • Pests: Resilient to pests, yet look out for fungus gnats in warmer months
