The Philodendron Hederaceum or 'Heartleafed Philodendron' plant is a fast growing trailing plant that is easy to care for. With its heart-shaped leaves colored emerald green, this Philodendron is if you are new to caring for plants or any collector of trailing house plants. These plants will tolerate most conditions, but prefer medium to bright indirect sunlight and warmth to thrive.

  • Light: Prefers medium to bright indirect sunlight
  • Water: Water the soil thoroughly when the soil has dried half way through the pot. It is a good indication to give it water when the leaves start wilting. Water more often in spring and summer and reduce the frequency during the winter months.

  • Pruning: Prune as needed to remove brown or dead leaves and control growth. 
  • Feeding: Use a weak solution of a complete liquid fertilizer every two weeks during spring and summer. Do not fertilize during the winter months.
