Philodendron Erubescens - ‘Pink Princess Burgundy’

$19.90

A risk factor in any variegated plant is the potential for ‘reverting’ or losing all of it’s variegation and returning to a state of solid green leaves. This usually happens due to lack of light, but some plants simply don’t have the genes to sustain variegation and need all the green in their leaves they can get. The green parts are the ones that are able to absorb light, and therefore the ones that the plant prioritizes in order to stay alive. And while this might make the plant less valuable on the market, it’s no less beautiful. Reverted PPPs or ‘Pink Princess Burgundy’ plants have remarkably dark green glossy leaves and bright pink stems to set them apart from the other Philodendrons in your collection. Place it somewhere bright to try to coax some pink back out of it, or appreciate it for what it is- either way we can assure you that you’ll be pleased with these interesting specimens
