Ficus Elastica ‘Melany’

The Ficus Elastica 'Melany' is a less commonly talked about variety of Rubber Tree with coloring somewhere between the standard green and ‘Burgundy’ varieties. For leaves that are larger and more vibrant provide them with a lot of light and as much humidity as possible. They can adjust to lower light/average conditions but as a canopy tree they’re happiest in a bright window

Have fun experimenting with this plant by pruning it at the start of the growing season to manipulate its growth pattern and encourage new growth! These can get quite large so the possibilities are endless!
