Story of Ed's Plant Shop
Ed's Plant Shop blossomed from the passion and dream of its founder, Ed, a proud Brooklyn native whose love affair with plants began in childhood. Inspired by his grandmother's well-cared-for Tradescantia on their stoop, Ed's fascination with greenery grew stronger over time.
Starting with a humble Craigslist job doing data entry for a local retailer turned e-commerce store, Ed's journey into the world of plants ignited his passion for retail. It also inspired his dream of opening his own plant shop.
Despite setbacks, Ed's plant collection flourished, and caring for them became his favorite hobby. In 2020, Ed's dream became a reality as he opened the doors to Ed's Plant Shop. His goal: curate a selection of healthy, high-quality plants accessible to everyone. Ed's Plant Shop grew to become a haven for plant lovers seeking expert guidance and rare finds, from his Brooklyn community to plant enthusiasts nationwide.
