Description

The Philodendron 'Congo' is a large-leafed variety of the Philodendron family of plants that features smooth-edged, oval-shaped leaves. Leaves come in a wide variety of colors such as Rojo (red leaves), Emerald (dark green), Moonlight (washed-out light green), and Green. This plant gets its common name of 'Congo 'from its growth habit that at first glance gives the appearance of a jungle. It prefers bright light and can adapt to basic household humidity.
