Description

Lovingly called the ‘Tree of Enchantment’, Salix Caprea Pendula or ‘Pussy Willow’ is for plant lovers who want to take their collection past jungle vibes and straight into fantasy land!

Known primarily as a landscaping plant, this peculiar tree is growing in popularity as an indoor potted plant, provided you can give it the right conditions. In the wild the pussy willow grows next to water or in boggy conditions, so it should never be allowed to dry out, however be sure to use a well-draining potting mix to prevent rot. It also prefers to get at least a few hours of full sun per day. If this unique plant is kept happy you’ll be able to view a spectacular seasonal show beginning with the fuzzy ‘catkins’ you see in our images and finishing off with delicate green leaves later on in the Spring
