The Spathiphyllum 'Peace Lilly' is a low-maintenance and highly adaptable classic houseplant. Its common name of "Peace Lilly" is misleading, as this plant is not a lily at all, but instead a member of the Araceae family. This plant is characterized by its dark green leaves and white calla-like flowers on tall stems above the foliage. This plant prefers partial shade, but can tolerate and thrive in all light conditions. This plant is great for beginners since it is so easy to care for. It will also help filter its surrounding air of various toxins. The Spathiphyllum 'Peace Lilly' is nativeto tropical regions of the Americas and southeastern Asia.
