One of our favorite shop items, the PLINT A/S Galvanized Metal Watering Can is made with thicker iron plates than regular watering cans. Our cans feature stronger welds and a rough finish. PLINT A/S galvanized metal watering cans will last for years and potentially be the last can you'll ever need!

Each metal watering can is hot galvanized by immersion in a zinc alloy that is 460 degrees. The zinc adheres to the iron as a thick syrup. When the jug comes up again, it hangs and drips for 20 minutes.

After the zinc dip, the galvanized metal watering can is colored, hung on hooks, and run through a powder coating tunnel. This step is where the paint adheres to the hot-dip galvanized zinc layer. Each watering can receive its desirable and characteristic surface texture and color during this step! This process is also the best way to prevent the iron from rusting. This process also assures the longest life span of your watering can.

Beauty & Craftsmanship

I bought this 9L Galvanized Metal Watering can in Green to replace a fading & leaking plastic one that had been my workhorse watering can for a few seasons. Time and sun exposure had taken a toll on the plastic. I wanted my new can to be larger, and I wanted it to be metal in the hope that it would last longer. Well this 9L green can is quite a looker. And I'm so pleased with its craftsmanship. It is the sort of quality that I thought was a thing of the past. When I'm not using my green can, I enjoy just looking at it. It's that pretty. But besides its looks and its high quality manufacturing, it functions very well. It's big enough to water several plants before needing to refill it, but not so big that I can't carry it full. The dual handles make controlling the can while pouring very easy. And the removable sprinkling rose is nicely crafted. (It does dribble a bit when the can is set down after watering with it, so you may wish to reserve the rose for outdoor use rather than indoor use with your wood floors.) I adore my 9L green metal watering can. (BTW - The picture also shows the green 9L can's 5L 'little sister' in red. Together they make a perfect Christmas pair. Pretty enough for a Christmas card.)

I ordered the forest green large watering can and it arrived in a large box with a lot of recyclable packaging. The spout is removable, which is a great feature, and the enamel finish is flawless and beautiful. It has a nice handle that's comfortable. I love it and have recommended it to friends.

Watering can arrived safe and sound. It is even more beautiful than the photos show it to be. It is a heavy duty can that will bring you years of use in the garden. It is so attractive that I can't bring my self to using it. I'm sure the can will bring me hours and hours of fun in the garden.

Highly recommend. These are great watering cans that will last many years; and, if they do spring a leak, fully recyclable metal, no plastic. Slovakian made which is also a plus. European quality is evident.

Galvanized Metal Watering Can 9 Liter

I just received this watering can so I haven’t used it long term yet. But I can tell the construction of it is solid and I expect to last long term. I bought a similar one from crate and barrel probably 1 years ago and to this day still have quality item (and it’s taken a beaten from kids and dogs in the backyard) but they no longer sell it. I searched the internet high and low for a quality watering can (needed another for another property location) and after hours and days of searching finally found one that looked quality made to last me years!!! Though I’m not sure how long the rubber seal on the head will last will c. Super duper pleased with this watering can. I’ll pay (if I can) for quality longevity and use items, thank you!!!
