Ed’s Plant Shop is online-only, and local delivery availability is determined by the delivery address, products in the cart, inventory readiness, courier availability, and current operating capacity.

Where NYC Local Delivery May Be Available

Local delivery is commonly available for eligible addresses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and other NYC areas supported at checkout. Availability can vary by ZIP code, product size, inventory location, route distance, and courier capacity, so a neighborhood list should not be treated as a guarantee.

How NYC Plant Delivery Works

1. Shop online: Add eligible plants, planters, or plant-care products to your cart.
2. Enter the complete address: Include the apartment or unit number and a working mobile phone number.
3. Check delivery eligibility: Select Local Delivery if it appears at checkout.
4. We prepare the order: Live plants require inventory coordination, inspection, preparation, and careful handling before courier dispatch.
5. Receive confirmed delivery information: Delivery details are sent when the order reaches the local-courier stage.

Local Delivery does not automatically mean same-day or next-day service. Processing and preparation are required before a courier is dispatched.

Local Courier Delivery

We currently use Uber Courier for many eligible NYC orders. Another local courier may occasionally be used depending on route, order size, availability, or delivery requirements.

Courier arrival times are estimates rather than guaranteed appointments. NYC traffic, weather, parking, building access, route changes, and courier availability may affect timing.

Prepare for Your Delivery

Please provide complete and accurate information, including:

• Recipient’s full name
• Complete street address
• Apartment, suite, floor, or unit number
• A working mobile phone number
• Door code, buzzer, doorman, gate, or building-access details
• Helpful delivery instructions when necessary

For large plants or heavy planters, confirm that stairs, elevators, hallways, and doorways can accommodate the item before ordering.

Can I choose a guaranteed delivery date or time window?

Not as a general guarantee. Delivery timing depends on plant readiness, processing, inventory, courier availability, traffic, weather, and building access. Confirmed delivery information is provided when available.

Do you offer same-day plant delivery?

Same-day delivery is not guaranteed. Local orders still require processing and preparation before courier dispatch.

Can I send a plant as a gift?

Yes. Provide the recipient’s complete address, mobile phone number, and all building-access details. You can also send an Ed’s Plant Shop digital gift card if you prefer to let the recipient choose.

What if a plant arrives damaged?

Shipping or delivery damage should be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs and order information. Review our Refund & Returns Policy for the complete claim requirements and plant-health terms.

Can I pick up my order?

No. Ed’s Plant Shop is online-only and does not maintain a public storefront, showroom, warehouse counter, or customer pickup location.
