Large plants & special projects
Need More Than Standard Local Delivery?
Large floor plants, heavy planters, multi-item orders, offices, events and special projects may need additional planning. Freight elevators, loading restrictions, certificates of insurance, receiving windows and placement requirements can affect what is feasible.
Standard local delivery generally covers transportation to an accessible delivery point. It does not automatically include installation, repotting, furniture moving, multi-floor carry, freight-elevator coordination or placement throughout a home or office.

A small, rotating selection of Ed’s Plant Shop plants may be available for in-person purchase at Flower Daddy, 539 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg. Flower Daddy is a separate retail business and is not an Ed’s pickup, return, exchange or customer-service location.

Where in NYC do you deliver plants?
Local delivery may be available to eligible addresses in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and select other NYC areas. Availability depends on the exact address, cart contents, inventory and current delivery capacity.
Is NYC plant delivery same-day?
No. Local delivery does not automatically mean same-day or next-day service. Orders generally require 5–15 business days for processing and preparation before courier coordination.
Can I choose a guaranteed delivery time?
No. Courier timing is estimated rather than a guaranteed appointment. Traffic, weather, parking, route changes and building access can affect arrival.
Can a doorman or front desk accept my plants?
Yes, when the recipient and building allow it. Include clear access instructions and confirm that staff are permitted to accept live plants.
Can I pick up my order?
No. Ed’s Plant Shop is online-only and customer pickup is not available. Flower Daddy cannot release online Ed’s orders.
What if my plant arrives damaged?
Report significant shipping or delivery damage within 48 hours and follow the documentation requirements in our Refund & Returns Policy. You can also review our FAQ.
