After years of serving the Brooklyn plant community through our plant studio on 174 Bogart Street, Ed’s Plant Shop is moving fully online. This next chapter lets us expand our product offerings, ship with increased speed and care, and give you even better support — all while focusing on what we love most: beautiful plants delivered with heart.

Saying goodbye to our flagship studio on Bogart was not a light decision, but it opens the door to a stronger, more sustainable future — and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.

Why This Change Matters

Over the past five years, we found running a plant shop in New York City together with our online shop has been a joy — and a challenge. Over time, we realized that our team thrives best when we can pour all our energy into quality curating, thoughtful packing, and personal customer care rather than juggling day-to-day shop operations.

By focusing on our online shop, we can:

• Improve shipping speed and consistency nationwide
• Simplify operations for better customer support
• Continue nurturing the plant community we love nationwide

This model aligns with where the plant world has grown — and where you’ve told us you shop most. It lets us give you more of what you want without losing the quality and care that matters most.

We’re Still Here in Brooklyn — Just in a New Way

Even though our original brick-and-mortar space is closing, Ed’s Plant Shop is not leaving Brooklyn. We’re thrilled to partner with our friends at Flower Daddy, located at 539 Metropolitan Ave, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY 11211, to keep a local presence in the neighborhood we love.

Flower Daddy — a lifestyle and licensed cannabis retailer is just steps from local favorites like Domino Park and McCarren Park — iconic Williamsburg spots perfect for a relaxed stroll before or after picking up some plants.

Flower Daddy will also carry a rotating, curated selection of Ed’s Plant Shop plants in person — featuring staff favorites, easy-care classics, and seasonal highlights. 

Shipping & NYC Delivery

Nothing changes here — our online shop continues to offer careful nationwide shipping, and NYC locals can still choose weekend courier delivery. Every order is packed with the same attention and love by our small team.
