Please note this is a plant plug and will need to be adjusted to its new home slightly differently than regular houseplants!

  • Unpack Carefully: Gently remove the plant plug from its packaging, taking care not to damage the delicate roots and leaves. Allow the plant to acclimate to its new environment for at least 48 hours

  • Inspect and Hydrate: Check the plant for any signs of damage or pests. Lightly mist the leaves and roots if they appear dry, and let the plant rehydrate in a shaded area.

  • Prepare the Pot and Soil: Choose a suitable pot with drainage holes and fill it with a well-draining potting mix appropriate for the plant species. Create a small hole in the center of the soil for the plant plug. Do not use a planter much larger than the plug itself.

  • Plant the Plug: Place the plant plug into the prepared hole, ensuring the roots are spread out and covered with soil. Firmly but gently press the soil around the base of the plant to secure it in place.

  • Water and Acclimate: Water the plant thoroughly, allowing excess water to drain out. Place the plant in a location with appropriate light conditions for its species, and gradually introduce it to its new environment over a week, avoiding direct sunlight initially.
