Description

If you were walking by this plant in the jungles it naturally grows in you might just miss it! The Caladium Praetermissum or ‘Hilo Beauty’ has an intense variegation pattern on it’s elephant ear shaped leaves that closely resembles camouflage. Interestingly, this plant doesn’t flower which makes it extremely difficult to definitively identify. Most experts have come the conclusion that it’s a natural hybrid between a Caladium and Alocasia that can be traced to Hawaii, but we don’t know for sure. Either way it’s a captivating addition to any plant collection, especially if you’re into the jungle vibe!
