The Maranta Leuconeura 'Red Prayer Plant' gets the common name of 'Red Prayer Plant' from its habit of raising its leaves to an upright position in the evening, folding together like praying hands. It has wide, oval-shaped leaves that are dark green with red veins. This plant can thrive in any lighting conditions and is friendly to all four-legged friends.
