Brooklyn addresses can range from brownstones and small walk-ups to loft buildings, offices and high-rises. Complete access information helps a courier complete the delivery successfully.
- Include the recipient’s full name, apartment or suite number and a working mobile phone number.
- Add buzzer, door code, doorman, front-desk or other building-access instructions when needed.
- If your building has a doorman or package room, confirm staff can accept live plants on your behalf.
- Remain reachable while the courier is approaching in case there is a question about the entrance or delivery point.
- Bring live plants indoors and unpack them promptly, especially during very hot or cold weather.
Standard local delivery is generally to an accessible delivery point. It does not automatically include carrying oversized plants up multiple flights of stairs, installation, repotting or placement throughout a home or office.
Large plants & special projects
Need More Than Standard Delivery?
Large floor plants, heavy planters, multi-item orders, offices, events and other special requests may require additional coordination. Elevator access, stairs, doorway width, loading restrictions and building rules can all affect what is practical.

Ed’s Plants at Flower Daddy
A rotating selection of Ed’s Plant Shop plants may occasionally be available for in-person purchase at Flower Daddy, 539 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg. Flower Daddy is a separate retail business and is not an Ed’s Plant Shop pickup, return, exchange or customer-service location. Its in-store selection may differ from inventory shown online.

No. Ed’s Plant Shop is online-only and does not maintain a public storefront, showroom, warehouse or customer pickup location. Flower Daddy cannot release online Ed’s orders.
What if I live in a walk-up or doorman building?

Can you deliver large plants in Brooklyn?

What if my plant arrives damaged?
