Plant Delivery on Manhattan’s Upper West Side
Eligible delivery addresses may include apartments, brownstones, doorman buildings, offices and other locations throughout the Upper West Side and nearby west-side Manhattan neighborhoods. Common areas include Lincoln Square, Central Park West, Riverside Drive, Broadway, Columbus Avenue, Amsterdam Avenue and Manhattan Valley.
Nearby addresses toward Columbus Circle or Morningside Heights may also qualify depending on checkout availability. A neighborhood name or ZIP code by itself does not guarantee service; enter the complete address at checkout for the current options.
How Upper West Side Plant Delivery Works
- Browse Shop All Plants or other eligible products.
- Add the items you want to your cart and enter the complete Manhattan delivery address.
- Select Local Delivery if Shopify displays it for that order.
- We prepare the plants and coordinate the local courier once the order is ready.
- Delivery updates are sent when confirmed information becomes available.
Uber Courier is used for many local deliveries, although another courier may be used when the route, order size, building requirements or availability make that more appropriate. Courier arrival estimates can change because of traffic, parking, weather and building access.
Processing Time and Delivery Expectations
Current order processing generally runs 5–15 business days. Courier transit time is separate from processing, and an exact delivery date should not be assumed until delivery coordination is confirmed.

Doormen, Elevators, Walk-Ups and Building Access
Upper West Side deliveries often involve prewar buildings, co-ops and condos, doormen, package rooms, walk-ups, elevators and service entrances. Accurate access information helps prevent failed delivery attempts.
- Use the recipient’s complete name, street address and apartment or suite number.
- Provide a working mobile number for delivery-day contact.
- Include buzzer, intercom, doorman, front-desk or service-entrance instructions.
- For large plants, confirm elevator, freight-elevator, stair and receiving-hour restrictions before ordering.
If a recipient or building authorizes the courier to leave an order with a doorman, front desk, package room or other accepted location, that handoff may complete the delivery.

Ed’s Plant Shop does not maintain a public storefront, showroom, warehouse or customer pickup location. Online orders cannot be picked up from our former Brooklyn studio or from Flower Daddy. If local delivery is not offered for your cart, eligible products may still be available through Nationwide Plant Delivery.
