The Senecio Rowleyanus 'String of Pearls' is a fast growing, cascading succulent that requires little care. This plant's small green bubbles along a slender stem resemble the plastic pop-apart beads of childhood dress-up bins. This plant can also produce tiny white flowers with bright-colored stamens that some say smell like cinnamon. This plant requires indirect light for best growth and infrequent watering. The String of Pearls also has shallow roots and grow new root easily, making it easy to propagate.
