Dear Plant Friends,
Across the country, we’re seeing communities being forced to deal with a wave of surging COVID-19 cases. As new local and state restrictions are going into place, families everywhere are adjusting holiday plans to keep their loved ones safe. Through all the challenges of 2020, it has been truly inspiring to see our customers across the USA discover the beauty and joy houseplants can bring into your home. While we are a new company, we have already helped so many of you buy your first plant baby, virtually coach you through your first re-potting and find the perfect plant friends for your place.
As we head into the colder months and the number of COVID-19 cases continues to rise, Ed's Plant Shop is working hard to make sure that we continue to safely serve you. Since the pandemic began, we’ve prioritized the health and safety of our customers and employees, and you can count on us to continue doing that. We require all employees to wear CDC approved face masks and follow all recommended guidelines; we sanitize our delivery vehicle and equipment regularly to ensure both the health of our plants and customers, and we do not permit our employees to enter a customers home for any reason.
We’ve spent the past several months building new ways to help you shop for plants online from the comfort of your own home. Zero-contact Local Delivery in Brooklyn, Nationwide Shipping with cold weather packaging, gorgeous plant photography and informative care care guides are helping save our customers time and stay safe.
As we enter the holiday shopping season, we're already starting to see longer shipping times with some of our partners. If you are located in Brooklyn & Queens, buying online for local delivery is the best way to receive the you've ordered quickly.
While we will never be able to completely replicate an in-store plant shopping experience digitally, we will strive every day to make shopping on our website as enjoyable and educational as possible.
