Here at Ed's Plant Shop, we pride ourselves in having a diverse selection of houseplants for sale online. We do have a few favorites, though, including the Philodendron. They're luscious, have a tropical vibe, and are relatively easy to care for!

With over 200 species, there is a Philodendron for every taste and home style. When browsing our selection of Philodendrons for sale online, it may be overwhelming to choose just one (or two) to adopt, so we thought we'd help by putting together a list of our top five favorite Philodendrons. 

We've chosen these varieties due to rarity, ease of care, and overall delightfulness. Have one that you don't see on our list, but feels like it deserves an honorable mention? Let us know!

Philodendron 'Golden Crocodile'

'Golden Crocodile' Philodendron, also known as Philodendron 'Golden Dragon', is a unique and beautiful cultivar. As the name suggests, this plant features crocodile-like markings on 'Golden Crocodile' leaves in shades of gold, green, and brown, giving it a distinctive appearance.

The leaves on 'Golden Crocodile' Philodendron are large and glossy, with a smooth texture and a pointed tip. The leaves are deeply lobed and have a distinct shape resembling an arrowhead, typical of many Philodendrons. 

'Golden Crocodile' Philodendron is not a common variety and can be harder to find than other popular Philodendrons. However, it is worth seeking as a striking and unique addition to your plant collection. With its stunning coloration and easy care requirements, it is sure to impress and delight any plant lover.

'Philodendron Hastatum 'Silver Sword'

Another favorite of ours, the Philodendron Hastatum 'Silver Sword', is a more popular cultivar of the Philodendron family. It is known for its striking metallic silver leaves and unique foliage. This plant is native to Brazil and is a member of the Araceae family.

Philodendron Hastatum 'Silver Sword' has large, heart-shaped, and are a beautiful silver or metallic color. The leaves can grow up to 2-3 feet in length and are thick and glossy in texture. The stems are also silvery in color, adding to its striking appearance. The foliage makes it eye catching, which can easily be confused for a more high-maintenance houseplant. These easy to grow silver beauties are a must-have in our book.

Philodendron micans

Hear us out, Philodendron Micans may be a regular green leaf, but it's vining character is sure to charm its way into your heart. It is a beautiful and unique variety of the Philodendron family that is becoming increasingly popular among plant enthusiasts. Philodendron Micans has velvety leaves with a deep green color with a coppery-red hue. The texture of the leaves is soft to the touch, giving the plant a unique look and feel.

This plant is versatile that can be grown in a variety of settings. It can be grown as a trailing plant, a climbing plant, or even as a ground cover in a terrarium or vivarium. If you give the micans some room to groove, it will happily cascade indefinitely! It is fast-growing and can quickly fill space in your home or office. Its vines can grow up to 8 feet long, making the micans perfect for trailing down from a hanging planter or shelf.

Philodendron 'Silver Stripe'

The Philodendron 'Silver Stripe' may be the most common plant on our list, but it's hard to argue with perfection. The leaves of Philodendron 'Silver Stripe' are large, glossy, and heart-shaped, with deep green coloration and broad, irregular stripes of yellow that run parallel to the veins of the leaf. The variegation pattern is random, with some leaves having more yellow than others, making each leaf unique. Each leaf looks like a miniature work of art. 

Philodendron 'Silver Stripel' is an excellent houseplant that is easy to care for and can make a great statement piece in any room. Its unique variegation pattern adds a pop of color and interest to any space, and it can grow on a trellis or pole for added height and structure when trained.

Philodendron 'White Princess'

Step aside, 'Pink Princess' Philodendron; there's new royalty in the online plant shop! Beautiful isn't a strong enough word to describe the leaf patter on this Philodendron. Stunning is more like it. Due to its rarity and popularity, White Princess Philodendron can be slightly challenging to find, but we got a few in! We can offer 'White Princess Philodendron' for sale online so you can add one to your collection. 

The leaves of the White Princess Philodendron are heart-shaped, with a creamy white center and dark green edges. The variegation pattern is random and unique, with each leaf having its own distinctive pattern. The leaves can grow up to 6-8 inches in length and are thick and glossy in texture.
