Description

Providing powerful contrast to a typical green backdrop, the Alocasia Black Velvet features dark leaves with prominent pale green, white, or silver veins. Its thick leaves are heart-shaped and have a velvety look and stiff texture. Leaves grow about six inches long and two-and-a-half inches wide. Native to rainforests of Asia, the Alocasia ‘Black Velvet’ is specifically native to the Borneo jungle environment and requires high humidity and bright, indirect light for best growth.
