Plants were shipped in the dead of winter, snowpocalypse even, from NY to MI. and arrived in good condition . Temps were in the single digits yesterday, small cold damage on outer leaves but overall great. Shipping did take forever from order to receive Ordered 1/29, delivered 2/17. Plant selection was great.

I had the chance to pop into the shop, and very glad I did. So many healthy and happy plants to choose from, as well as a good assortment of planters. I'm setting up my apartment and Ed was able to help me with questions about pet safety and pot the plants for me right on the spot. He also offered for me to send across photos of my new apartment if I wanted any advice on what might be best suited for the space and lighting conditions. Will be getting all my plants from here.

I love my plants. It did take longer than I thought it would to get them, but they are in great shape and the owners threw in a free heat pack. I appreciated how easy it was to find pet friendly plants.

This is my second review for Ed’s Plant Shop and I’m not a person to take the time to write reviews. I cannot highly recommend buying from this amazing vendor enough! My first order from them had two types of begonia, so I was over the moon to discover that my “rescue” plant in this order was another variation of a gorgeous begonia!! I’m not even sure where “rescue” comes in on their website, because the plant I got was more lush and healthier than pricey “luxe” plants I’ve ordered from past shops! My “mystery” plant is also a full, beautiful stunner with lots of babies. Don’t even get me started on my new Triostar. This one was a replacement for a very sickly one that was ordered for me as a birthday gift this past year. The one that passed was — you guessed it! — an overpriced and very struggling plant that didn’t have a chance. Ed’s Plant Shop sent me a Triostar that is four times the size of the previous plant from past vendor and it’s thriving. If you have hesitation about the rescue or mystery plant or just like gambling to win and making a random day seem like Christmas, do what I’m going to do next week and buy some rescue and mystery plants from this shop. Buy ANY plant, you won’t be disappointed!

First impressions are lasting impressions. Great team of people who love plants helped me select from the large unique selection of plants. They even potted my plant with no additional charge. If you like personalized service, hard to find varieties of plants and value for your money then Ed’s is the place for you.

What an absolute gem Ed's Plant Shop is! This was my first time purchasing and it certainly won't be my last; this shop has quickly become my new favorite source for all things plants. I ordered a "Mystery" plant and a t-shirt and couldn't have been more thrilled when they arrived! Unboxing these beauties felt like a gift - the plant is gorgeous and I'm so pleased with my awesome new t-shirt. What I loved most was just how much care went into my order from start to finish: this plant was clearly grown and tended to with a lot of TLC, it arrived in excellent condition due to having been packaged beautifully, and the customer service is absolutely top notch. If you're on the fence about making a purchase here, give it a try (and consider ordering a fun "Mystery" plant, too)!

I absolutely adore Ed’s Plant Shop. My mother surprised me with a purple shamrock (Oxalis Triangularis) shipped to my apartment and it arrived in beautiful, healthy condition and has doubled in size in a month! I live nearby, so I can’t wait to visit in person to pick up more perfect plant babies. PS their customer service is amazing! They respond to my questions via Instagram thoroughly and promptly :-) The photo I’ve added is of the purple shamrock very soon after I received it. I also love the concrete pot they sold for me to immediately switch out the nursery pot. EDIT: I just recently ordered one of my longtime wishlist plants, the Philodendron Billietiae from Ed’s and since I live in the area, I had the option to have it hand delivered during the time slot of my choice through the site. The plant looked just like it did on the site and is thriving so far. I love you all so much! Thanks!

I purchased a small mystery plant for my birthday present to myself. I could not be happier with my plant and the customer service I received when I asked about what kind it was! I was sure it was a philodendron but couldn't figure out which one. Their response was quick and professional. I will be ordering from them soon! I'm over the moon with my philodendron biplenifolium (horse head philo)! Thank you so much!!!!

A friend recommended Ed’s Plant Shop when I was searching for a 10” plant to add to my home, and I’m so happy she did! He has great customer service—response time was so quick, he’s very nice and helpful, and happily sent through options from his inventory to match what I was looking for. I ended up taking home a very healthy Elephant Ear plant. Plus each plant on his site has a care guide attached, to help folks like me who desperately want to keep their plants alive, but need a little help. I love that this shop is local—will definitely buy more plants from Ed in the future :)

Ordered from Tennessee. My mini monstera came in great packaging, great health. Will be ordering from Ed's again. Also, I was too excited to take pictures of how it arrived but this is after a bath and semi repot.

I looked everywhere for a large (~2 gallon) watering can that had a lovely painted finish. I finally found just what I was looking for at Ed’s. It arrived promptly and is even more beautiful than pictured. Thank you!
